I have been slacking a little bit on the running I have only ran 10 miles this week...two 5 mile runs around the red hill behind my house. I hope to try a little harder each day..

Michaels EEG

Well We had to keep Michael up almost all night Thursday for his EEG on Friday...... WOW, was that interesting. I had the first shift until 1:30 am.... We watched the movie "Happy Feet" Went to Mc Donalds to play on the play ground and get an icecream at 11:30 pm and then I took him to wal-mart to look at the fish and toys until 12:30-1:00 am. I tried to keep him awake by rolling the windows down, turning the lights on with the music really loud in the car. I sang really loud clapping my hands and shaking my head back and forth while cruising down boulavard... I'm sure many people that night thought that I was a terrible mother keeping my young toddler out that late at night, but it was fun! Jason then had the 2nd shift from 4:45 am until the appointment at 7:30 am.

Marathon Update

Well I have been training slightly. I run 5 miles on Mondays and Wednesdays and I run 2 or 3 on tuesdays and Thursdays and on Saturdays I am running 6 to 10 miles. I haven't ran that much on a Saturday yet but I will this Saturday! Wish me luck that my toes don't completly fall off, they are slightly hanging currently. :)

David Makes Quick Recovery!

As most of you now know, David is home and appears to have made a quick and full recovery from the surgery. He is in great health and is starting to grow. He has jumped on the growth charts to the 61st percentile in height and 7th percentile in weight. While the weight has only risen slightly, the fact that he is getting taller fast gives us a lot of hope. He has put on about four pounds since the surgery 4 weeks ago. At this rate he will be bigger than Michael in less than a year! Well, okay, so he won’t likely continue this phenomenal growth very long, but it’s so nice to see him catching up with his peers.
