Michael's NEW Talent!!

Jason’s side of the family has a “Family Home Evening” one Sunday every month with all of the family that lives around us and some that live far away. Tonight was one of those Sundays that we meet for this special occasion. What we do is sing songs like “The itsy bitsy spider”, “Patty Cake” and “Up up in the sky” mainly children’s songs and then a hymn and prayer. After the prayer we go around to everyone with any announcements and talents that they may have. Michael kept asking to speak, but we had to keep telling him that it wasn’t his turn quite yet and that we would let him know when it was. Finally after waiting which seems like forever it was Michaels turn to speak. He looks up at me with a HUGE smile and wasn’t saying anything. I told him that he had waited this long he had better say something, so he starts out with some hand movements and some kind of gibberish. Then he goes into something about David and how he was being naughty and he says “No David! He no listen! You no listen you get spanken! David NO!” Then he puts his hand up like he is holding something and taking his other hand to act like he is spanking David over and over while saying” I spank you! I spank you bad David!” I couldn’t believe THAT was the talent of my firstborn and that we had waited so long for him to tell….what a proud moment for me and any mother for that matter! Poor poor David…….

Jason's Birthday!!

It was Jason's Birthday today! "33" I had to throw that number in! I dropped by his office and decorated it then decided to decorate his truck too! The balloons were sagging by the time I was able to get a picture, but it was sure hilarious watching him stroll up in the decorated truck! I LOVE YOU JASON!

He is seriously the best husband in the world (for me of course) I LOVE him more as each day goes by and he never ceases to amaze me with the talents God has blessed him with. He is an amazing husband, father, brother, friend and son. I have seen him bless the lives of so many people because of his obedience to the Lord and to the Gospel. I will forever be indebted to my Heavenly Father for being blessed with such an awesome man!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABE!!!

Beach Trip

We go camping every year to Carpinteria State Beach up by Santa Barbra CA. We got back on Saturday and had a GREAT time. Even the 14 hr car ride with me and the boys wasn't pure terror!(Jason Headed off early to pull our trailer)

Here are a few pictures of our memorise vacation!

This is David doing his yoga pose like the one he did when trying to chew the gum off the sidewalk, only now he doesn't have a diaper on and wants to share that information with all around.

I decided to have a little playtime of my own with Michael, we were building stairs.

David and Grampa on a boogie board, and yes they did get smacked with a few waves, I decided not to post those in fear of being charged with child neglect.

Jason and the boys on the beach. Jason swinging David with Michael walking in the background.

Jason helping Michael climb the side of the cliff...my little monkey's.

Jason and Grampa take the boys every morning when the tide is out to see the crabs, starfish, seals, seaenenemies and any other living crazy thing the ocean brings. I went with them this time and we all needed a little walking break.

Grampa and the boys posing.. He seriously is the BEST Grampa EVER!! He is so good with the boys and LOVES being with them and likewise the boys LOVE their Poppie!

Michael playing with the sand on the morning walk...what a cuttee!!

David riding on his mini bike with a cute little helmet. He was crazy fast on this bike and loved every second of it!

Grampa, me , David and Michael sitting on chairs in the water waiting for the waves to hit our backsides... I would highly recommend this to any pregnant woman out there. You don't have to run to the bathroom.....you just sit there and wait for the next wave!

Me posing on the beach trying to make myself look thin....whatever!

The showers at the beach cost a quarter for every two minutes, so we decided to just clog up this sink and bath the boys in it. The view is pretty awesome with the ocean in the background and the boys loved it! It was kind of difficult for Jason and I to squeeze in it though...pictures coming soon.

Another picture of our high class bathtub!

Chewing Gum!

The other day we were down in St. George and I decided to take the boys to the free downtown water park. It has the redrock with streams through it where little kids can run and climb. Recently David and Michael have had a fetish with finding chewed gum and trying to eat it!! YUCK! Well, while I was trying to find Michael and took my eyes off of David for a few seconds, David had bent over in some kind of baby yoga position his feet are on the ground and is face is on the sidewalk...I look closer and he is trying to eat this chewed up gum with his teeth and tongue!!! What the?? NASTY!! I ran over to grab him before any other mothers saw this disgusting child, but it was too late many were staring... Oh Well. Oh and by the way this wasn't the first, second, or third time either!!!

"A Day Out with Thomas"

Last Friday we went to "A Day Out With Thomas and Friends" in Heber. The boys had so much fun playing with the toys, animals and riding Thomas. We were able to ride on Thomas for a half an hour listening to the songs from Thomas the Tank Engine. They had conductors that said "ALL ABOARD" It was cute.

Jason and the boys on the Train tracks.

Michael was waving and saying "Hi" to Thomas as he went by.

They had toy trains for the kids to play with while we waited to ride Thomas.

I was taken a very needed prego break while kind of watching the kids.

This is a terrible prego picture of me, but the boys look GREAT!

We are all riding on Thomas down the tracks.

The boys enjoying the train ride.

Taking a picture with Thomas

They also had little horses and camels the boys got to feed and pet.
