Potty Training Begins!

Friday morning I decided to start this dreaded potty training which I have been putting off. The night before, I tried to get Michael as excited as I possible could. I told him "Tomorrow you will be a big boy, like poppie (grandpa) Daddy, Dyamond, Uncle James and Uncle Tonka". He seemed excited because I also told him he will be wearing Thomas the Tank Engine underwear! Yesterday was awesome, I watched him like a hawk. He only peed his underwear once and that was because I took my eyes away from him to change the other little dudes diaper. Besides that one time he did great the rest of the day. I was giving him juice all day to help him go more, and today he has the runs, so it's been a little difficult. But all in all he still has made me proud, the above pictures show his mischievous face while trying to take the whole role of toilet paper. The other two pictures are him picking out a sticker, which he gets every time he goes in the potty; and the other is him putting the sticker on his poster. If he fills up two rows, he gets to have a toy tractor, he has gotten two already. I hope he catches completely on soon, I'm getting exhausted already to have to watch his EVERY move, plus entertain David. Oh it will be nice to only have one in diapers - for at least a few months anyway. ;)

What a Blast!

My dad has been working in Heber City, Ut. which is about a half an hour away from our house. Last Saturday we went with some of the grandkids to go and watch it. At the end of the video you noticed Jason running for cover. He couldn't quite record the whole thing with flying rocks going everywhere. We threw the kids under the loader and we took cover also. Luckily no one got hit. I love watching his blasts.

My brother also was there and filmed it on the other side of the hill, watch it!

Still Alive

I went to my doctor the other day to get an ultrasound, and to see if my hemorrhage has cleared up or not. We saw the baby :) so this means I'm really pregnant. ;) The hemorrhage was still there, it hasn't grown at all but on the other hand it hasn't gotten smaller either. I'm really not sure what to think about that, I just TRY and take it a little more easier than I normally do. The baby is growing and doing fine, and that's all that I really care about.

School is going..... I am having the hardest time with my Math. I didn't think I would have such a hard time with it. I probably spend a good 10 hours a week JUST on my Math trying to figure things out. Plus I have this dang pregnancy brain, that doesn't help at all. ;) I really am enjoying it though, I feel like I am accomplishing something other than being a mother.

Back To School

I started school last week and I think I am enjoying it? I decided to drop my Biology class but keep my Math and Writing, I didn't have enough time to do all three. My first day of school, I parked in front of the building that my classes are held in. I needed to walk across campus to get some paperwork from Jason, who works at UVU. I m talking on my cell phone, to one of my good friends while walking across campus. All of a sudden, I see no people walking with me, there were tons of people before, but then they were all gone. I got off the phone and just kept walking, I new basically where I was headed to the building where Jason works in, but I couldn't figure out a way to get in any part of that dang building. I saw a pair of footprints in the snow leading up this hill to one of the buildings, so I decided to follow it. Here I am hiking up this hill, snow up to my knees and I come to a dead end. It was a garden area where I could see all the people in the building and they saw me , but there was no stinken way to get in. I turned around and decided to walk against the building to see if possibly there was a random door. When I got around there was this long glass hallway bridge type thing, so I started going down this snowy muddy hill grabbing on to bushes hoping that I don't fall on my tush. When I got to the bottom there was a gully about ten feet wide and ten feet high. For a moment I thought to myself "I betcha I could jump this" seriously pondering on it, I turned around and headed back up the muddy, bushy, snowy hill I just came down, again holding on to each branch hoping they don't give way. I make it to the top and again I see people staring at me outside the windows wondering what the snot I'm doing. I felt like an ape in a zoo, where everyone was curious with me and my kind and I just wanted to either attack them or figure out how to get in that dang glass building.Huffing, puffing, sweating, muddy and wet,I eventually made it to the building I was headed for. Then returning through the hallway that everyone was staring at me before, I thought that I would get this huge applause from all who were sitting there, but they just sat and stared.
This is me people.... Amy Burr going back to college, I can barely even get in the dang thing. LOL
