Beach Trip

We go camping every year to Carpinteria State Beach up by Santa Barbra CA. We got back on Saturday and had a GREAT time. Even the 14 hr car ride with me and the boys wasn't pure terror!(Jason Headed off early to pull our trailer)

Here are a few pictures of our memorise vacation!

This is David doing his yoga pose like the one he did when trying to chew the gum off the sidewalk, only now he doesn't have a diaper on and wants to share that information with all around.


I decided to have a little playtime of my own with Michael, we were building stairs.


David and Grampa on a boogie board, and yes they did get smacked with a few waves, I decided not to post those in fear of being charged with child neglect.

Jason and Grampa take the boys every morning when the tide is out to see the crabs, starfish, seals, seaenenemies and any other living crazy thing the ocean brings. I went with them this time and we all needed a little walking break.

Grampa, me , David and Michael sitting on chairs in the water waiting for the waves to hit our backsides... I would highly recommend this to any pregnant woman out there. You don't have to run to the bathroom.....you just sit there and wait for the next wave!

The showers at the beach cost a quarter for every two minutes, so we decided to just clog up this sink and bath the boys in it. The view is pretty awesome with the ocean in the background and the boys loved it! It was kind of difficult for Jason and I to squeeze in it though...pictures coming soon.

Chewing Gum!

The other day we were down in St. George and I decided to take the boys to the free downtown water park. It has the redrock with streams through it where little kids can run and climb. Recently David and Michael have had a fetish with finding chewed gum and trying to eat it!! YUCK! Well, while I was trying to find Michael and took my eyes off of David for a few seconds, David had bent over in some kind of baby yoga position his feet are on the ground and is face is on the sidewalk...I look closer and he is trying to eat this chewed up gum with his teeth and tongue!!! What the?? NASTY!! I ran over to grab him before any other mothers saw this disgusting child, but it was too late many were staring... Oh Well. Oh and by the way this wasn't the first, second, or third time either!!!

"A Day Out with Thomas"

Last Friday we went to "A Day Out With Thomas and Friends" in Heber. The boys had so much fun playing with the toys, animals and riding Thomas. We were able to ride on Thomas for a half an hour listening to the songs from Thomas the Tank Engine. They had conductors that said "ALL ABOARD" It was cute.

I was taken a very needed prego break while kind of watching the kids.

While we were reading the scriptures Michael looks up at me and says;

Michael: When baby sister comes out she eats toast at table?

Me: That's right honey, but she will have to wait a few months before eating toast.

Michael: Michael get in there with baby sister? (He always refers to himself as Michael)

Me: Well? I don't think it could be possible to get in there with her honey...well maybe it could, but it would be really uncomfortable.

Michael: Michael cut and jump inside there? (As his finger is cutting across my throat);

Me: Are you going to just take my head off and put it back on?(WIDE eyed and a little freaked out)

Michael: Yup

Me: (Looking at Jason) I'm going to have a hard time sleeping tonight!

Burr Update

Here is a little update on what we have been up to.....enjoy!!


This is down at the river, Michael tried to swing on the rope...so cute. The boys had so much fun with my friend Megan's kids!


Megan took all the kids and a DOG on the four wheeler down to the river and back..I had David. I had to get a picture LOL!

Megans daughter Apsen was playing ball with Michael...she was sooooo cute and sweet!


David was hungry and ate a peanut butter sandwitch. I'm pretty sure he was still hungry afterwards because he totally missed his mouth!


We went down to St. George this last week for work reasons. This is a picture of Michael, David and Rayne filling up the watering troth that my Dad bought for the kids to swim in.

I had to get a picture of this, showing what a great mom I am! Look at how old and full his poor little diaper is....Yes, I know I'm imperfect....and cheap. I usually just wait until it falls off to change it, it saves TONS of money!!! ;)

We got a pool at Rite Aid for $10 Michael couldn't wait to fill it up.

This is the start of my herb garden, so cute... the puppy that lives here already got in it and ate some of my plants!! I was furious!
